I was at the 25th Saguingan (Banana) Festival 2011 held at the People’s Park early this week. This year, the official list of locally-grown bananas reached to 30 varieties. Seeing the various colors, sizes and shapes of this fruit made me think of the possibilities of delectable dishes, craft ideas, designs for banana-themed booths, floats, dance, costumes, etc…
