Nothing is more colorful and attractive in the eyes of a child than chocolates encased in colorful metallic foil wrappers. Take a look at Inday, the one year old daughter of my sister-in-law Joy. The child settled down and put her cuddly toy aside as she oriented on the goodies spread before her.
Gold, red, blue, purple…which ones would she choose? When she finally snagged the candy with a hot pink wrapper, the adults chorused in “ooow”. As expected, pink (in various hues and tints) is popular among little girls indeed… and influenced by Barbie (of course!).
