To crawl the world with a hundred legs
It was a damp day when I found this rusty millipede (Diplopoda) with orange legs at the side of a dish garden. It’s about four inches long and has a rounded body with alternating light and dark brown hues. Despite having hundreds of legs, this worm-like crawler moves slowly as it makes its way from the side of the pot to the base of the bonsai tree. I guess it knows that there are some dead leaves and rotting weeds on that pot.
