Noise and laughter — I expected that from a class of second graders of RCMS (Rufo dela Cruz Memorial School) when I dropped by at their room last Friday afternoon, September 16. Instead, I saw a group of smiling kids who sat at their respective chairs and ate their food in silence. By the look on their faces, they enjoyed the comfort food they were eating; fried chicken, spaghetti, a slice of rainbow cake and juice in tetra pouch would make any Filipino child behave for a while.
